The Prophet (SAW) commanded
us to control our TONGUES
(HARSHE) by avoiding romour,
gossip, lie and hypocrisy in many
sunnatic teachings, such as that
narrated by Tirmidhi (RH) from
‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir (RA) who said: “I
said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what
is SALVATION?’
Then our beloved Prophet (SAW)
mentioned three good actions as a
genuine and nice way to salvation
by saying:
‘(1) Control your TONGUE;
(2) KEEP to your HOUSE; and
(3)WEEP over your SIN.’”

Imam Al-Nawawi (RH) said: “If a
believer (Mumin) wants to speak,
then if what he wants to say is
GOOD and he is confident that he
will be rewarded for it, whether it is
obligatory or praiseworthy, then let
him speak, but if it does not seem
to him that it is GOOD and he will
be rewarded for it, then let him
refrain from speaking.
May Allah help us in implementing
these three good actions of
salvation, and may He (SWT) unite
us in His JANNATUL FIRDAUS
